Makueni, Kitui and Bomet counties in Nandi for benchmarking.
The visitors who will be here for two days will visit the County Call Center which has enabled County residents to access County services with ease. Nandi is the first county in the country to set up a call center that is open 24hours a day.
The vistors are also expected to learn from our Social Welfare program that has seen the County distribute numerous assistive devices to Persons Living with Disabilities. Wheelchairs, Clutches and other assistive devices have been distributed to many PWDS across the county. The County has also issued economic empowerment tools such as Tailoring machines to the physically challenged.
Other areas of Interest will be the Agriculture sector where our Subsidized AI program has enabled farmers to change their breeds as well the Nandi Milk Processing Plant that is ongoing. They will also tour our Kapsabet County Referral Hospital where services have been improved as well as visit the ongoing construction of a Modern Hospital Complex.
The visit is a vote of confidence in the transformational agenda of Governor Sang. It is enough testimony that our County is in the right track.
